The Sand Badger was born on the beaches of Jacksonville, Florida, also known as Florida's First Coast.

Inspired by the need to help people...offering an easy way to put up an umbrella, a much needed respite from the sun.

Market research has found the #1 reason people do not like taking umbrellas to the beach is because they are so hard to put up and once all the work is done, a simple gust of wind can easily blow them over.
